D2 helped us throughout the whole process of redesigning and total renovation of our family home.
Amy and Alan Homeowners
Luke & the team visited us to learn what we really needed and created amazing designs which we refined together through to gaining planning. Matt then executed the procurement and contractor selection and Project Management to make our build a reality, he supported us through the delivery process to get us the results we wanted.
We now get to live in our dream family home – It really has changed the way we live.

Residential architecture
that holds up in the real world
We work on private homes across Cheshire and North Wales, from planning-sensitive extensions to new builds and barn conversions.
Much of our residential work sits where planning policy, site constraints and client ambition overlap.
Green Belt. Open countryside. Tight urban plots. Listed buildings. Neighbour sensitivity. These aren’t obstacles, but they do need clear judgement early on.
We look at the planning context properly before committing to a direction. That avoids wasted time, unrealistic expectations and schemes that unravel under scrutiny.
Residential projects often feel personal – and they are. But they still need to stand up technically and practically. That’s where experience matters.

Homes that make sense, from brief to build
Our projects range from private homes to commercial buildings and development sites. The scale and context might change, but the need for good judgement early on doesn’t.
Some clients arrive with a vision. Others with questions. We test what’s feasible and carry decisions through so the project works in practice.
An approach shaped by years of experience
